THE LITTLEST ELF is a fun-for-the-whole-family holiday musical, filled with some of your favorite holiday carols, plus some complimentary originals.  As I'm sure you all know, every Christmas Eve before Santa goes on his famous sleigh ride, all the elves of the North Pole put on a Christmas Pageant for Santa.  It helps fatten up his Christmas spirit!  You knew that right?  Everyone knows that!  Well, one Christmas Eve a new elf came to the North Pole, but didn't have a song to sing for Santa.  All the other elves were more than willing to help, chaos ensues, and eventually the Littlest Elf sings an original song with the help of the Christmas Spirit.  Ho!  Ho! Ho!  THE LITTLEST ELF, written and directed by Mike Kinnie, was put on for many years at the Lake Ontario Playhouse and now it's coming to Cape Vincent!

Shows will be at Sallie Port, Three Mile Bay, NY on Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20., 2025 at Bashaw Elementary Auditorium , 410 S. The Littlest Elf Brings Back Holiday Cheer!

 

CAPE VINCENT - - -  First produced in 1995 at the Lake Ontario Playhouse, the holiday family musical, The Littlest Elf, will feature the talents of local residents including adults, teens, and a children's ensemble of students ages 8-12. The performers will be accompanied by the KEX Jazz Combo. The Littlest Elf  features jazzy holiday favorites and new original songs plus an appearance by Santa himself. It is presented by the non-profit Thousand Islands Screen & Dramatic Arts, Inc. in conjunction with the Cape Vincent Arts Council. 

 

Performances will take place as follows: Friday, Dec. 19, 6:30 pm Sally Port View 7828 Route 12E, Three Mile Bay (Food available for purchase before the show) 

 

Saturday, Dec. 20, 2:00 pm Bashaw Elementary School 410 S Esselstyne St., Cape Vincent

The Littlest Elf takes place on Christmas Eve at the North Pole, where the elves are planning a Christmas pageant for Santa before his famous sleigh ride around the world. A new elf arrives but doesn’t have a song to sing for Santa and as the other elves try to help, chaos and comedy ensue. The show features jazzy holiday favorites and original music plus an appearance by Santa himself. 

 

The musical debuted in 1995 at the Lake Ontario Playhouse, a theatre Kinnie founded and ran for many years in Sackets Harbor. It has also been staged in the past at Jefferson Community College under Kinnie's direction. 

 

The Cape Vincent Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting entirely of volunteers. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, the Stroll on Broadway, the Riverside Music & Arts Festival, the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition, summer art classes, and a variety of literary and visual arts programs.

 

The 2025 cast of The Littlest Elf includes Jayna Pfiester from Cape Vincent as Cocoa, the littlest elf; Mark Labenki, Clayton as Jingle; Anna Goetz, LaFargeville, as "Bob;" Mike White, Watertown as Ralph; Lilla McKillip, Cape Vincent, as Jolly; Madeline Kinnie, Clayton, as Holly; Production staff includes Abigail Duffy, Musical Director; Tina Rocker, Stage Manager and Mike Kinnie, Director, who is also reprising his role as Henry the Head Elf.
